{"id":6573,"date":"2017-09-29T11:36:32","date_gmt":"2017-09-29T11:36:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/visiontechnology.co\/?p=3439"},"modified":"2020-05-25T11:16:53","modified_gmt":"2020-05-25T09:16:53","slug":"result-mild-tritan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iristech.co\/result-mild-tritan\/","title":{"rendered":"Mild Tritan"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Test result<\/h1>\n<p>Mild Tritan<\/p>\n<h1>What is a Tritan?<\/h1>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3533 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/tritanopia-color-spectrum.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"357\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tritans are people with\u00a0<strong>Tritanomaly<\/strong>, a type of blue color blindness where the blue cones in the eye do not detect enought blue light.<\/p>\n<p>As a result,\u00a0people affected by tritan color blindness confuse blue with green and yellow with violet.<\/p>\n<p>When all blue cones are missing the\u00a0<strong>Tritanomaly\u00a0<\/strong>condition is called\u00a0<strong>Tritanopia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h1>Tritanopia<\/h1>\n<p>Tritans with Tritanopia are Dichromats.<\/p>\n<p>In this case the short wavelength sensitive cones (red) are missing at all. A tritanope can only distinguish 2 to 3 different hues, whereas somebody with normal vision sees 7 different hues.<\/p>\n<h1>Tritanomaly<\/h1>\n<p>Tritans with Tritanomaly are Anomalous Trichromats.<\/p>\n<p>This can be everything between almost normal color vision and tritanopia. The blue sensitive cones are not missing in this case, but do have some kind of mutation.<\/p>\n<h1>How Tritans see the world?<\/h1>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3536\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/art-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3537 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/art_t.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/center>To Tritan the above images will look the same.<\/p>\n<h1>How to setup Vision for Tritans?<\/h1>\n<p>From the Setup menu choose Tritanopia.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3539\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/vision-setup-tritanopia.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"462\" height=\"462\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The colors of the screen will now change. Screen colors are daltonized in real-time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3540\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/setup-tritanopia.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"453\" height=\"462\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is general preset for people with Tritanomaly and you should now be able to distinguish more colors.<\/p>\n<p>If you want more fine control you can buy\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/buy-vision\/\"><strong>Vision Pro<\/strong><\/a>. With the Pro version of Vision you can customize the Severity of your color vision deficiency and the Color adjustment applied to the screen.<\/p>\n<p>The recommended\u00a0<strong>Severity<\/strong>\u00a0for<strong>\u00a0Mild Tritans\u00a0<\/strong>is 0-25%.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3541\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/mild-deuteranopia-severity-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"469\" height=\"316\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Move the\u00a0<strong>Color adjustment<\/strong>\u00a0slider as you like. For best color discrimination use the most left or right position of the slider.
