{"id":8498,"date":"2018-05-14T13:08:53","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T11:08:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iristech.co\/?p=8498"},"modified":"2019-10-25T20:32:49","modified_gmt":"2019-10-25T18:32:49","slug":"how-to-know-if-you-are-mild-deutan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iristech.co\/how-to-know-if-you-are-mild-deutan\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Know if you are Mild Deutan?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/deuteranopia.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8499\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/deuteranopia.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"689\" height=\"369\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In this age, color identification is very much important in daily life.<\/p>\n<p>While walking on the street, color detection is important in identifying the traffic signs and other important signals.<\/p>\n<p>In the field of fashion, colors do play a vital role and just a shade of color may define the quality of wearing stuff.<\/p>\n<p>In industries, it\u2019s important to identify colors while making pigments and different dyes.<\/p>\n<p>Different categories of color blindness are discussed by experts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-blindness-statistics.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8500\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-blindness-statistics.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"472\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nDeuteranopia is the most common type of color blindness.<\/p>\n<p>The people affected with deuteranopia are called Deutans.<\/p>\n<p>Deuteranopia is said to be a condition in which the green cones don\u2019t detect enough green and are too sensitive to yellows, oranges, and reds.<\/p>\n<p>A person having deuteranopia will face difficulty in identifying greens, yellows, oranges, and browns as they may appear similar to him\/her.<\/p>\n<p>Many attempts have been made in order to prepare color blindness tests and to prepare equipment to do so.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s very important to know whether a person is color blind or not as it may play a vital role in every aspect of the life.<\/p>\n<p>Army recruitment and pilot selection do pay a lot of attention to these tests.<\/p>\n<h1>Ways to find deuteranopia<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-blind-test-for-kids.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8493\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-blind-test-for-kids.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"627\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Different methods are there to detect the severity of color blindness and to categorize it accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the important methods are given below:<\/p>\n<h2>Ishihara 38 Plates CVD Test<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/ishihara-test-plate.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8501\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/ishihara-test-plate.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"680\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This test was designed by a Japanese professor Dr. Shinobu in order to test color perception.<\/p>\n<p>This test is used to detect any red-green color deficiency.<\/p>\n<p>38 plates are used for this test each of which consists of a circle of dots which appear randomized in color and size. Figures are written on each plate.<\/p>\n<p>Some plates are such that their figures are visible to everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Some figures or number are visible normal people and some are visible to people with deficient eyes.<\/p>\n<p>A minimum score of 12 is required to be called as a normal eyed person and any score lesser than 12 will be considered an abnormality.<\/p>\n<h2>FM 100 Hue Color Vision Test<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/hue-test-for-color-blindness.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8502\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/hue-test-for-color-blindness.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"906\" height=\"229\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This test uses 88 plates and not 100. It was designed by Dean Farnsworth Munsell in 1943 in order to detect the ability to differentiate different shades of colors.<\/p>\n<p>In this test, a person under control simply has to arrange the shades and properly manage the sequence.<\/p>\n<p>The higher the TES score is, the more severe your deficiency will be.<\/p>\n<h2>Color Arrangement Test<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-arangement-test-color-blindness.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8503\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-arangement-test-color-blindness.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"262\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This test was also designed by Farnsworth in 1947. This is also called a D-15 test. I<\/p>\n<p>n this test, a person is given different shades and he has to manage the colors in best possible order.<\/p>\n<p>If a person is color blind, he will manage the colors in quite different manner than a normal eyed person.<\/p>\n<h2>RGB Anomaloscope Test<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-blindness-test-anamaloscope.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8504\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-blindness-test-anamaloscope.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"319\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In this test, a person is given two colors which he can alter in order to match them.<\/p>\n<p>He is asked to match the colors.
