{"id":8508,"date":"2018-05-14T13:26:24","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T11:26:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iristech.co\/?p=8508"},"modified":"2019-10-25T20:33:01","modified_gmt":"2019-10-25T18:33:01","slug":"what-are-the-different-types-of-color-blindness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iristech.co\/what-are-the-different-types-of-color-blindness\/","title":{"rendered":"What are the different\u00a0types of Color blindness?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-blindness-types-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8495\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-blindness-types-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1725\" height=\"1115\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The people suffering from color blindness have difficulty in seeing different colors or perceiving clear differences between two colors below the normal light.<\/p>\n<p>The color blindness is of different types and most of them are inherited and present at birth.<\/p>\n<h1>Symptoms of color blindness<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-blindness.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8488\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/color-blindness.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The symptoms of color blindness can differ from person to person.<\/p>\n<p>In some cases, the people have more brutal forms of\u00a0color blindness\u00a0as compare to others.<\/p>\n<p>But usually, it is seen that the people suffering from color blindness are not able to tell the difference between different shades of blue and green colors and in different shades of green and red colors.<\/p>\n<p>There are different types of inherited color blindness. Few of them are as follows:<\/p>\n<h1>Anomalous Trichromacy<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/anomalous-trichromacy.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8509\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/anomalous-trichromacy.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"590\" height=\"369\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The normal color vision exploits all the three types of light cones properly and is known as trichromacy, and the people with normal color vision are called trichromats.<\/p>\n<p>The people with defective trichromatic vision will be color blind to some level and are called anomalous trichromats.<\/p>\n<p>In this state, all of their three cone types are used to distinguish light colors but one type of cone perceives light vaguely out of position so that there are three different types of outcome produced depending upon which cone type is out of order.<\/p>\n<h1>Dichromacy<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/dichromacy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8510\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/dichromacy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"384\" height=\"451\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The people with dichromatic color vision contains two types of cones through which they are able to perceive color i.e. they have a total deficiency of function of one cone type.<\/p>\n<p>The lack of aptitude to see color is the easiest and a simple way to elucidate this state but in real fact, it is a definite segment of the light band which can\u2019t be perceived.<\/p>\n<p>For ease, we entitle these areas of the light spectrum green, blue and red.<\/p>\n<p>The people suffering from protanopia are not able to identify any red light, those with deuteranopia are incapable to perceive green light and those with tritanopia are not capable to perceive blue light.<\/p>\n<p>The people with both green and red deficiencies live in a world of dark greens where yellows and blues stand out.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1>Protanopia<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/protanopia.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8511\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/protanopia.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"711\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Protanopia is also another type of color blindness. The people who suffer from protanopia are known as protanopes.<\/p>\n<p>The protanopes are more like to confuse black colors with different shades of red, different shades of blues with different shades of red, different shades of purple color with different shades of dark pink, the mid-green shade with different shades of orange color, dark brown shade with dark green color and different shades of dark orange with dark red.<\/p>\n<h1>Tritanopes<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/tritanope.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8512\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/tritanope.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"527\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tritanopes is another common type of color blindness. The most common color confusions for tritanopes are light blues shades with grey color shades, dark purple color with different shades of black color, mid-greens with different shades of blue colors and orange color with reds.<\/p>\n<h1>Monochromacy<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/monochromacy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8513\" src=\"https:\/\/iristech.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/monochromacy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"880\" height=\"554\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The people with monochromatic vision can see no color at all.
